What can I say about Ryan, well he comes from the Philippines, and he’s been in Dubai a long time, and worked as a groomer for quite some time, sounds vague, well here is a little bit of clarity, he is quite simply THE BEST GROOMER IN DUBAI. I remember meeting Ryan for a coffee when I was creating potential people for the team, I was asking him about his experience and he showed me his arms, they were covered in marks from years of grooming dogs, and he said with a huge smile “I have worked with dogs pretty much my whole life”. I was somewhat apprehensive about this but there was something there that just made me think maybe he is not what he initially seems. Boy was I right, Ryan is our head groomer and all-round team player. His love and affection for any dog, whether it’s a rescue just off the street to a posh pup from a swanky house, he treats all of them with respect and love. If a dog is injured he Is our go to person. Why he likes his job, “I get to meet so many different breeds of dogs, I enjoy helping dogs so they have an enjoyable life. We have one customer who used to have her dog anesthetized when cutting his nails as he was so anxious, but she bought him to us and now he is regulary having his nails trimmed with out sedation and is a lot more happier for it. If I can make a dogs life better no matter of his or her background I am happy”

Rey is originally from a beautiful countryside farm in the Philippines, and his love and passion for animals stems from there having many animals around him. He came to Dubai in 2019, immediately starting with a very reputable dog day care, he then moved to on become a trainer’s assistant for a private dog trainer. Having met Rey for a chat about joining us I immediately loved his enthusiasm and his absolute love for dogs. I asked Rey what it was about training and working with dogs that he liked so much, and he simply said back “I feel happy with dogs, and I love creating a bond with them and the return love I get”.
