Animals & Us
Animals & Us is a shelter that is home to nearly 400 dogs, 90 cats, and supports hundreds of other dogs on the streets of Fujairah. It was founded and run by Michelle, a full time primary school teacher, along with a handful of volunteers. The shelter is completely not-for-profit and is operational thanks to funding provided by Michelle and the community that supports the organization.
Stray Dogs Center
The Stray Dogs Centre (SDC)
is a non-profit animal welfare organisation, founded in 2013. Our mission is to help abused, abandoned, neglected and forgotten stray animals in the UAE with a “no kill” policy. Our shelter holds over 1400 rescue dogs, a handful of wonky donkeys and 15 cats.
